Option Two - Convert PDF to Word on Microsoft Word

If you don't have a Google account or you have already installed Microsoft Office Word in your computer, you can try this method. But you need to update your Microsoft Office to 2013 or above version.

Step 1. Open Microsoft Word.

Step 2. Move your mouse to the left menu and click on "Open". Here you have two ways to load your PDF file. One is from your Dropbox account, the other is from your local computer. Select "Browse" to upload your PDF file.

Now let's see there is a notice below the menu - "PROTECTED VIEW - Be careful - files from the Internet can contain viruses. Unless you need to edit, it's safer to stay in Protected view." You just need to click on "Enable Editing", then you can start to edit your file.

Step 4. Click "File" to save it as a .docx document.

This method is only suitable for non-images PDF file. Microsoft will automatically convert your PDF file to Word format when you open the file, and can't save it as PDF again. If you want to edit a complex PDF file with texts, graphics and images, you can use Adobe Acrobat or other PDF converters.
