Open Office is an open-source, XML-based, and ZIP-compressed file format for word processing documents, presentations, spreadsheets, and charts. The Open Document Format (ODF) is widely considered as a free alternative to Microsoft Office. The file extensions of ODF Documents include ".odt", ".ods", and ".odp".
